Born in the South of France, Céline decided at the age of 20 to travel with her companion for an 8 month trip of discovery to the Philippines and Indonesia …

What she found on this trip was her calling.

To travel the world and capture the soul of the places and people she encountered in her art.

“I embrace the world, I take what it offers me and from this I find my inspiration. My travels and the realization of my art back home in France is a constant voyage of discovery …”

Every year for 3 to 6 months Celine departs on a new voyage.  The only constant is surf and discovery.  Each voyage is a like a chapter in my novel of life.  I try to embrace my entire experience and express that in my art.

“There are moments of incredible joy and beauty but also of dispair at what I have seen in the world”.  One sees this intensity of life in every one of Celine’s pieces. Her work vividly depicts her travels and her experience and influence her art.  “The place” takes free rein to her imagination: “In this creative process, I let my subconscious guide my hand and my art.”

“I found the faces of people which I crossed in the road, the country’s culture, my passion for the ocean and surfing, style living in harmony with nature. ”

Celine has exhibited regularly since 2002 and is in great demand in many galleries through out the world. On the other side of the Atlantic, her painting and her lifestyle are greatly appreciated by the surf community in  Latin America and the United States.

She has been featured on the cover of ALMASURF, a leading Brazilian surf magazin in 2012 and in 2008 was a featured artist at the International Surfing Museum in Huntington Beach, California becoming the first European to exhibit in the Mecca of “surf culture”.
